Jamie Spence

Jamie Spence, born on May 26, 1963, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England, is a former professional golfer who turned professional in 1985 at the age of 22.

Throughout his career, Spence achieved notable success on the European Tour, securing two tournament victories. His first win was a remarkable comeback at the 1992 European Masters, where he overcame a ten-shot deficit with a final round of 60.

In addition to his playing career, Spence served as Chairman of the European Tour’s Tournament Committee in 2003, contributing to the administration and development of the tour.

After retiring from professional play, Spence transitioned into broadcasting and has been serving as an on-course commentator for the DP World Tour, providing insights and analysis during tournament coverage.
